BACON SOUP

Servings: 8 people

Ingredients

  • 1 pound bacon cut up
  • 2 quarts bone broth
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 6 ounces chicken cut up and cooked
  • *Add your favorite vegetables, herbs and spices

Instructions

  • Heat coconut oil over medium heat in large pot, and drop in bacon. Let simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Pour in bone broth, and continue to let simmer, reducing heat to low. Sprinkle in turmeric, basil and curry powder. Simmer for 5 minutes, and then drop in the chicken, mixing thoroughly.
  • When ready to serve, ladle soup into bowls, and enjoy!
