FRENCH ONION SOUP

Ingredients

  • 4 quarts beef broth
  • 1 cup grass-fed butter
  • 10 yellow onions
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 2 bay leaves

Instructions

  • Cut onions. Melt the grass-fed butter, and then cook onions until translucent – brown is too much, this should take about 5 minutes. Turn heat to low, and add all other ingredients.
  • Let cook on low for 50 minutes, being sure to stir on occasion. Remove from heat, remove the bay leaves, serve and enjoy!
