TURNIP SOUP

Ingredients

  • 4 pounds lamb neck cut up
  • 10 turnips peeled and cut
  • 10 cups bone broth
  • 2 tablespoons dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon allspice
  • 8 tablespoons grass-fed butter
  • Add your favorite spices, herbs, and vegetables

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients in a slow cooker.
  • Cook, covered, until the lamb is very tender {this could be a few hours).
  • To serve, lift out of the pot, place soup in bowls, and enjoy!
