SIMPLE CHICKEN BROTH

Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken
  • 1/4 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/2 bunch cilantro
  • 1 carrot chopped
  • 2 tablespoons grass-fed butter

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients in a crockpot, and add water until everything is covered. Let cook on low heat. After 5 hours, remove and shred chicken, then return the bones to the pot.
  • Place chicken meat in the refrigerator. Cook bones for 3 more hours, before removing from heat.
  • Strain the broth, let cool, and serve!
