BACON STEW

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds bacon cut up
  • 4 quarts bone broth
  • 4 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 2 teaspoons turmeric
  • 12 ounces turkey cut up and cooked
  • *Add your favorite spices, herbs, and vegetables

Instructions

  • Heat coconut oil over medium heat in large pot, and drop in bacon. Let simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Pour in bone broth, and continue to let simmer, reducing heat to low. Sprinkle in turmeric, basil and chili powder. Simmer for 10 minutes, and then drop in the turkey, mixing thoroughly.
  • Serve, and enjoy!
