French Onion Soup

FRENCH ONION SOUP

 

Dairy-free, Gluten-free, Keto-friendly

 

Serves about 8 people

 

INGREDIENTS

4 quarts beef broth

1 cup grass-fed butter

10 yellow onions

1 teaspoon thyme

2 bay leaves

 

RECIPE

1. Cut onions. Melt the grass-fed butter, and then cook onions until translucent – brown is too much, this should take about 5 minutes. Turn heat to low, and add all other ingredients.

 

2. Let cook on low for 50 minutes, being sure to stir on occasion. Remove from heat, remove the bay leaves, serve and enjoy!
