Vietnamese Beef Broth

INSTANT POT® KETO VIETNAMESE BEEF BROTH

Dairy-Free, Gluten-Free, Keto-Friendly

Serves about 4 people

INGREDIENTS
2 quarts beef bone broth
3 inches ginger, peeled and cut in half lengthwise
1 cinnamon stick
2 whole star anise
2 whole cloves
2 teaspoons whole coriander seeds

INSTANT POT® RECIPE
1. Pour all ingredients into the inner pot of the Instant Pot®.

2. Close the lid, set the pressure release to Sealing, and select Manual/Pressure Cook. Set the Instant Pot® to 5 minutes on high pressure, and let cook.

3. Once cooked, let the pressure naturally disperse from the Instant Pot® for about 10 minutes, then carefully switch the pressure release to Venting.

4. Open the Instant Pot®, serve, and enjoy!

TRADITIONAL RECIPE
1. In a pot combine the broth, ginger, cinnamon stick, star anise, cloves and coriander seeds. Bring to a boil then turn down heat and simmer 1 hour.

2. Strain the stock and discard the solids.

3. If desired, add 1 tablespoon each of fish sauce and coconut aminos to the pot of broth, before serving.
