
INSTANT POT® KETO BONE BROTH MACAROONS
Dairy-Free, Gluten-Free
Serves about 8 people
INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup bone broth
1/4 cup coconut milk
2 tablespoons coconut flour
5 egg whites
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup honey
2 tablespoons dark chocolate
2 cups coconut flakes
INSTANT POT® RECIPE
1. Pour all ingredients into the inner pot of the Instant Pot®.
2. Close the lid, set the pressure release to Sealing, and select Manual/Pressure Cook. Set the Instant Pot® to 5 minutes on high pressure, and let cook.
3. Once cooked, let the pressure naturally disperse from the Instant Pot® for about 10 minutes, then carefully switch the pressure release to Venting.
4. Open the Instant Pot®, serve, and enjoy!
TRADITIONAL RECIPE
1. Whisk honey, eggs whites, and sea salt.
2. Add in coconut flakes, and coconut flour, mix, then refrigerate.
3. Shape batter into little balls, and place onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake at 350 degrees, for 10 minutes.
4. Drizzle dark chocolate evenly over macaroons, after melting the chocolate for 30 seconds in the microwave.
5. Let cool, serve, and enjoy!
